Julie holds a master of composition, music theory and arrangement. She composes and arranges pieces on commission and can also teach music theory, both in person and online.

First movement performed at a chamber music concert at Musik Quartier Mariahilferstrasse, Acoustic Stage, in Vienna, Austria, by 6 students from the Friedrich Gulda School of Music.

The 2nd and 3rd movements were performed at a concert in Fjell Church at the Drammen Arts Festival on October 27th 2023, by saxophone quartet Aqua d’or; Greta Stanyte (soprano saxophone), Solveig Grønnestad (alto saxophone), Kristin Rukke (tenor saxophone), and Sophie Mönnich Strøm (baritone saxophone).
