Om meg: 
Jeg har spilt fløyte siden jeg var 4 år. Da jeg var 11 år kom jeg inn på Unge Talenter ved Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt og på Talentutviklingsprogrammet ved Norges Musikkhøgskole. I 2014 begynte jeg å studere Bachelor i utøvende klassisk fløyte ved Norges Musikkhøgskole. Deretter, i 2018, tok jeg Master ved Norges Musikkhøgskole med utveksling i 2019 ved Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Høsten 2020 begynte jeg studiet Certificate of Performance ved Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, og jeg skal etter planen uteksamineres med konsert-eksamen i januar 2022. 
I løpet av min karriere har jeg vunnet mange nasjonale og internasjonale priser og konkurranser; i 2019 vant jeg 1. pris i Stockholm International Music Competition, og i 2020 vant jeg 1. pris i The North International Music Competition. Jeg har også vært solist med flere orkestre og korps, både europeiske, nasjonale, regionale og lokale. I 2015 var jeg solist med det europeiske ungdoms-symfoniorkestret BISYOC på deres turné i Norge. Jeg har blant annet spilt konserter i disse landene: Norge, Sverige, Danmark, England, Malta, Ungarn, Italia, Nederland, Taiwan og Tyskland. Jeg har blant annet spilt på disse festivalene/konsertseriene; Kvinnelige Spor i Musikkhistorien Galleri Athene, Gutvik Ukentlig, Halvorsen Musikkfest, Oslo Operafestival og Sildajazz Haugesund. 
Jeg er også vikar-godkjent i flere av de profesjonelle symfoniorkestrene og militærkorpsene i Norge, som f.eks. Operaorkesteret ved Den Norske Opera og Ballett, Sjøforsvarets Musikkorps, Luftforsvarets Musikkorps og Marinemusikken. De siste par årene har jeg fått gleden av å vikariere mye i både Sjøforsvaret og Luftforsvaret. Jeg har også spilt med Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps ved flere anledninger.

Jeg elsker å spille konserter så jeg tar imot alle oppdrag med åpen hånd – det kan være alt fra bryllup, begravelser og gudstjenester til bursdager, jubileer, konferanser også videre. Jeg tar både solist – og ensembleoppdrag.

Julie Helgeland Davidsen (born in 1995) is a Norwegian flautist from Drammen. She has a master degree from the Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo and Hochschule for Music und Theater München. Currently, she is studying Certificate of Performance at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien. 
Julie has been playing the flute since the age of four and has played concerts and won prizes both nationally and internationally. She has also perfomed as a soloist with different international, national and regional wind and symphony orchestras. 
Julie loves to play concerts and perform in different settings. So please do not hesitate to contact her if you need music for any kind of event - church ceremonies, funerals, weddings, birthdays, celebrations, conferences etc.

Julie Helgeland Davidsen (born 10.12.1995) is raised in Drammen,  Norway. She started her flute career at Drammen Cultural School and has been playing the flute since the age of 4.

When Julie was 11, she was accepted to the Talent Programs «Young Talents» at Barratt Due Music Institution and «The Talent Development Program» at the Norwegian Academy of Music. 


In 2014 she started to study for her Bachelor Degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and continued in 2018 with a Master Degree, also at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Spring and summer 2019 (March-July), during her last year of Master, she traveled to Munich for an exchange semester at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. 

From 2020 until January 2022 she studied «Certificate of Performance» at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien. Currently she is studying Master of Composition at Friedrich Gulda School of Music Vienna and Master of Cultural Management at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien. 



During her career, Julie has won many national and international prizes and awards; in 2022 she won first Prize in «Savshinsky International Music Competition», in 2021 she won the Jury’s Special Prize in Vienna International Music Competition after playing at the finals held in Mozarthaus Wien. In 2021, 2019 and 2014 she won 1st prize in «Stockholm International Music Competition» and in 2020 she won 1st Prize in «The North International Music Competition». Julie has also been a soloist with many different orchestras and wind bands, both European, national, regional and locals. In 2015, she performed as a soloist with the European youth symphony orchestra BISYOC on their tour in Norway. 



So far in her career, she has played concerts in these countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Malta, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Germany and Austria. She has performed at these festivals and concert series; «Festspillene i Bergen», «Borealis Festival», «Kvinnelige Spor i Musikkhistorien Galleri Athene», «Gutvik Ukentlig», «Halvorsen Musikkfest», Oslo Operafestival», «Sildajazz Haugesund» and «Drammen Arts Festival». 



Julie is approved as a flute substitute in different symphony orchestras and wind orchestras in Norway, such as; The Opera Orchestra of the Norwegian Opera and Ballet, The Navy Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces Bergen (Sjøforsvaret), The Marine Band of the Norwegian Armed Sea Forces Horten (Marinemusikken), and the Wind Band of the Norwegian Armed Air Force. She has also played with the Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces. For half a year during spring term 2022 (January-June) she worked as a substitute flute player in The Navy Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces Bergen (Sjøforsvaret).



In 2021, Julie established her own festival; Drammen Arts Festival, which is a poly-esthetic and interdisiplinary festival including nd combining all art forms. Julie wants to work actively together with other artists and musicians to always improve herself technically, musically, intellectually and challenge her creativity.
